We like sharing. We like music. We like ZipCar.

The idea is simple, leave your old CDs inside ZipCars you rent for the next driver to enjoy. It all started after someone accidentally left a CD in a ZipCar I rented. I had no idea who the band was, and it wasn't music I would have normally been exposed to. It got me wondering about the kind of person who had used the car before me and made me feel like a part of a larger community. I rarely use CDs anymore, so I thought why not seed this community with my own CD collection and see if I can inspire others to do the same.

I decided to quickly make some stickers and this website to share the story and experience with you. Check out below how you can make—or order—some stickers for yourself. If you found a CD I'd love to hear what you thought, email me at takeacdleaveacd@separateinbox.com.
